Our Story//

“On our trip to Rwanda, we saw the many needs of the people, the main problem being malnutrition.  We felt led to respond.  After learning about the Moringa Tree, we knew it was our way to help the people of Africa.  The ‘Miracle Tree’, as it is known, has many benefits. The greatest benefit being an abundance of nutrients.  One package of powdered Moringa leaves contains all the vitamins and nutrients a person needs for one day.  Being a local plant to Rwanda is another benefit of the Moringa.  As people are educated about it, they will be able to grow their own and sell the powder to improve their standard of living.  It is not ONLY an answer to malnutrition, but it is also an answer to poverty!

When we returned home, we were trying to figure out how we could assist with the Moringa Project.  After much thought, we decided selling t-shirts would be a great way to spread awareness AND raise money. 

For each shirt sold, 100% of the profit will go to the farming and packaging of the Moringa Tree through Ubuzima, an organization that sells the packaged powder and helps empower people in learning to farm the trees on the local level.
